Vivanativa, a rock band from Puerto Rico, was formed in 1997 by Javier Hiram Gómez and Nabeel Abdulrahman, who grew up together in Quebradillas. The group's early influences ranged from the Beatles to Héctor Lavoe. Their debut album, Vivanativa, released in July 1997 with Hensor Torres on drums and Adolfo Fito González on bass, marked their entry into the music scene. In October 1999, they released their second album, Viejo, which showcased their evolving sound. Subsequent albums included Claro (2002), Dulce Sodio (2006), and Mariposa MÃa (2010). The latter featured the song "Mariposa Mia," nominated for Premios Lo Nuestro as Pop-Rock Song of the Year. Vivanativa has performed internationally, including in México City, Madrid, Barcelona, and shared stages with artists like Ricky Martin and Maná. Their album Q was released in 2012, followed by Raro in 2020.
