Biography

Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro, a Mexican rock group from Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de Mexico, was formed in 1987 by Jesús Romualdo Flores ("El Chipotle") and Ricardo Flores ("El Abulón"). Initially performing as Tecnopal, they evolved into Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro. Their breakthrough came with the single "El Esqueleto" from their self-titled album Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro, released in 1994 by EMI, establishing them in the Mexican rock scene. In 1995, they released Brujerías, featuring the hit song "Ya tus amigos". The group continued with albums like Boutique 2000 (1997) and Invencibles (2005), maintaining a strong presence in Latin American rock. Despite lineup changes, including Carlos Sánchez on drums and David López Chirino on bass, Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro remained active through the 2000s with albums like Fantasma (2010). Their impact was recognized by participation in major festivals such as Rock al Parque and Vive Latino.
