Biography

Vandana Vishwas, born on July 17, 1970, in Canada, is a singer specializing in North Indian classical music. She debuted with the album Meera – The Lover... in 2009, followed by Monologues in January 2013. Her single "Samarsiddha" (2014) was the theme track for Sandeep Nayyar's novel of the same name. In 2016, her album Parallels topped the RMR charts for four weeks. Subsequent releases include the singles "Nav Varsh Mangalkamna Geet" (2021) and "Mann Lago" (2023), the latter being part of her album Kabeera – The Thinker.... Vishwas has won a silver medal at the Global Music Awards in 2016 for World Music and Female Vocalist categories, and the Woman Hero Award in 2015 by Indo Canadian Arts & Culture Initiative.
