Biography

Valle de Muñecas, an indie rock band from Argentina, was formed in Buenos Aires in 2003, consisting of Mariano Manza Esain, Luciano Lulo Esain, Fernando Blanco, and Mariano López Gringauz. The group debuted live in August 2003 at the Salón Pueyrredón and their first album, Días de suerte, was released in 2005, featuring notable tracks like "Regresar" and "Mil Formas de Estrellarme". In 2007, they released Folk, an acoustic counterpart to their debut album which featured four new songs. The band's third album, La autopista corre del océano hasta el amanecer (2011), marked a return to their electric rock sound and was well-received by critics. Valle de Muñecas has toured extensively across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay, opening for acts such as Lee Ranaldo and Bob Mould. Their discography also includes the EP Punk (2018) and notable singles like "Hoy Todo el Hielo en la Ciudad/Una Señal en el Agua" (2012) and "Tormentas/Dejadez" (2017).
