Biography
Urban Cone, a Swedish indie electropop pop band from Stockholm, Sweden, was formed in 2010 by Emil Gustafsson, Rasmus Flyckt, Tim Formgren, Jacob William Sjöberg, and Magnus Folkö. The group's debut single "Urban Photograph" received high praise and exposure on music blogs worldwide after the release of their first EP Our Youth Pt. 1 in December 2011. Their subsequent releases included EP Our Youth Pt. 2 (2012) and the full-length album Our Youth in July 2012, which received over nine million streams within a few months of its release. Urban Cone's second studio album, Polaroid Memories, was released in May 2015 and featured collaborations with Porter Robinson on "Lionhearted" and John Dahlbäck. The band toured extensively throughout Sweden, Scandinavia, Europe, and the U.S., performing at festivals such as Roskilde and SXSW. Urban Cone's third album, 10-18, was released in 2018.
