Biography
Hot Natured is a British-American electronic music group formed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, who met while running the Hot Creations label; their early work included underground house tracks that gained traction in club circuits. The duoâs breakthrough came with the 2013 single âReverse Skydivingâ, featuring Anabel Englund, which entered the UK Singles Chart and established their presence on the international scene; this success was followed by the EP Benediction (2013), featuring Ali Love and Luca Cazal, and the single âBenedictionâ, which charted in the UK Singles Chart. In 2013, Hot Natured released their sole studio album Different Sides Of The Sun, which received a three-star review from NME and a four-star review from The Irish Times, and was supported by tours including performances at the 2013 CRSSD Festival in San Diego and the 2015 Coachella Music Festival. The groupâs collaborations extended to remixes of Phoenixâs âEntertainmentâ and Alexis Raphaelâs âInto The Lightâ; they also contributed to the track âIsis (Magic Carpet Ride)â with The Egyptian Lover. Hot Naturedâs output remains influential in deep house and electronic music, with continued recognition for their distinctive sound and contributions to the genre.
