Tyler Ramsey, born December 3, 1973, in Asheville, North Carolina, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. His debut album was released in 2005. In November 2007, Stereogum featured him as an "Artist to Watch." His second album, A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea, came out on January 15, 2008. Tyler Ramsey joined Band of Horses in 2007, contributing to albums like Infinite Arms and Mirage Rock. He left the band on May 1, 2017. His fourth solo album, For the Morning, was released under Fantasy Records in 2019. On February 9, 2024, he released his fifth solo album, New Lost Ages. He later collaborated with Carl Broemel on the recording of Celestun, released under Tone Tree Music on January 15, 2026.
