Biography
Hailing from London, Twat Union is an all-female sextet formed in a flat-share. Comprising Kate Mac (vocals), Alice Rivers (keyboards, trumpet), Lucie Bowles (guitar, vocals), Beth Hopkins (saxophone, guitar, vocals), Tessa Alison (bass) and Harriet Sibley (drums), the self-declared feminist band has made a name for itself with energetic performances inspired by the riot grrrl movement and the DIY spirit of punk. After releasing their first single, "UTI", in 2023 , the band welcomed Jelly Cleaver (guitar) and signed with Alcopop! Records for follow-up tracks "Singer of the Year" and "Red Flag", included on the debut EP Don't Look in the Eye (2025). In the same vein between punk revival and post-punk, they release "Tiny Shorts" and "Pay No More", followed by the Don't Blame the Peach EP (2026).
