Rollo & King were a Danish pop duo that formed in 2000. The ensemble consisted of Søren Poppe and Stefan Nielsen and are famous for winning the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2001 and for finishing in second place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2001. They achieved early professional recognition with the hit single âVed du hvad hun sagde?â (2000), which reached Number 1 on the Tjeklisten. In 2001, they won the Danish pre-selection for Eurovision with the track âDer stÃ¥r et billede af dig pÃ¥ mit bordâ. They subsequently represented Denmark with an English version titled âNever Ever Let You Goâ (2001), which reached number 2 in the competition with 177 points. Their discography includes the studio recordings Midt i en løbetid (2000) and Det nye kuld (2001). The ensemble disbanded in 2002.
