Biography
Tom Speight is a folk-pop singer-songwriter from London, England who self-released his debut EP Falling in 2016 and the follow-up, Love, later that year. Also in 2016, he collaborated with Turin Brakes to co-write three tracks for the UK indie mainstays' seventh album, Lost Property and delivered three more solo EPs the following year, with production from Chris Bond and appearances from Turin Brakes and Lydia Clowes. His debut full-length Collide arrived in 2019 with his second album Everything's Waiting for You following in 2021 via Nettwerk. He stuck with Nettwerk for his third album Love & Light, released in 2023, with a new single "Wonderful Wonder"âa duet featuring Ward Thomasâalso emerging that same year. The album entered the UK Albums chart at number 66. Speight followed with the Covers EP in 2025, featuring regular collaborators Lydia Clowes and The Mayries, also present on the album Perfect Strangers, including duets with P.P. Arnold and Charlotte OC.
