Biography

American folk composer, guitarist and singer Jonah Kagen hails from Savannah, Georgia. After a duet with Matoma in 2021 on the track " ", he made a name for himself with his delicate acoustic songs, supported by harmonic guitar playing on tracks such as "Drowning" and "Turbulence". His first seven-track EP, Georgia Got Colder (2022), included the viral hit "Broken", which garnered worldwide airplay. In 2023, Jonah Kagen followed up with The Roads EP, featuring the duet "Made Up My Mind" with Lily Meola. The following year, "God Needs the Devil " breaks into the charts and reaches number 22 on the Top 40 Radio Adult Alternative Songs chart, also charting in Canada and South Korea. The track opens the six-track EP Black Dress, released in November 2024. In 2025 follow the singles "The Reaper", "Burn Me" with Sam Barber and "You Again", included on the debut album Sunflowers and Leather. " You Again" reaches No. 39 on the Top 40 Radio Adult Alternative Songs chart.
