Biography
An indie-minded Australian singer/songwriter who brings a soulful voice to his folk music leanings, Kyle Lionhart began his career the old-fashioned way, busking in his hometown of Byron Bay. He played where he could, eventually self-releasing the 2015 EP Keep in Mind, which features âSleep by Riversâ, a song that would gain traction online and become his most recognizable song as he built his reputation with strong live shows. The 7-song EP Eleven and Two followed in 2017. His debut LP, 2019âs Too Young, was peppered with tracks like âHolding Onâ, which offered intimate autobiographical sketches of the artist, and it gave him the opportunity to play dates in the United States before returning home for a headlining tour of Australia.
