Todmobile is an Icelandic pop band formed in 1988 by Ãorvaldur Bjarni Ãorvaldsson, Andrea Gylfadóttir and Eyþór Arnalds, all who were part of local bands and studied at the ReykjavÃk College of Music. Their first demo, "Sameiginlegt", was released in 1989 and featured on their debut studio album Betra En Nokkuð Annað (1989). Todmobile gained attention with their self-titled album in 1990. The band released several albums throughout the 1990s, including Ãpera (1991), 2603 (1992), and Spillt (1993). After a hiatus in the mid-1990s, Todmobile reformed in 1996 with new lead singer Vilhjálmur Goði and released Perlur og SvÃn. Notable achievements include winning five Icelandic Music Awards for categories like Best Song, Best Album, and Best Band of the Year. In 2013, Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Ãg á lÃf".
