Sudarwati, known professionally as Titiek Puspa, and born on November 1, 1937, in Tanjung, Dutch Borneo (now South Kalimantan), Indonesia, was a singer-songwriter. She began her singing career after winning several competitions at age 14 and moved to Jakarta in 1959 to perform professionally. Her breakthrough came in 1954 when she won a Radio Republik Indonesia competition. Puspa released notable albums including Romi dan Juli (1971) and Virus Cinta (1997). She won the National Pop Song Festival with "Cinta" in 1974 and represented Indonesia at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo that same year. Puspa was a palace singer for Sukarno and Suharto, performing at national ceremonies. Her notable songs include "Aku Anak Desa" from the 1980s and "Menabung", which won Best Children's Song at the Anugerah Music Indonesia Awards in 1997. She passed away on April 10, 2025.
