Tiffany Day Ruan, born January 30, 2000, is a Canadian-born American singer-songwriter and producer. Born in Toronto to Chinese parents and raised in Wichita, Kansas, she received classical training in piano and violin before learning guitar and beginning to write songs. Day first gained attention by posting cover songs on YouTube, and in 2017, a video of her singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" into a well in Italy went viral, encouraging her to pursue music professionally. She made her recording debut as Tiffany Day with the single "Bubble" in 2018 and has since released the EPs I'm Alive (2020), The Recovery Project (2021), and The Gratitude Project (2023) before releasing her debut album Lover Fruit Tofu (2024). Alongside her recording career, Day writes and produces much of her own music, blending pop with electronic influences.
