Biography

This Will Destroy You is an American post-rock band from Texas, formed in 2004. The group shifted to instrumental music after composing "The World Is Our___". Their debut album, Young Mountain, released in 2005, gained critical acclaim and led to a deal with Magic Bullet Records. In 2008, the band released their self-titled album, which was well-received and featured the track "The Mighty Rio Grande", used in several films including Moneyball (2011) and Room (2015). Their subsequent releases included the Field Studies EP with Lymbyc Systym (2008) and the albums Tunnel Blanket (2011), Another Language (2014), the diptych New Others Part One (2018) and New Others Part Two (2018), then Vespertine in 2020. They continued to tour extensively, playing at festivals like ATP and Rock Herk.
