Biography

The Young Veins, an American pop rock band from Topanga, California, was formed in July 2009 by Ryan Ross and Jon Walker, who had previously been members of Panic! At the Disco but left to pursue new musical directions. Their debut single "Change" was released on their MySpace page in 2009. The band played their first show in March 2010 and subsequently recruited Nick Murray, Andy Soukal, and Nick White to complete the lineup. Their debut album Take a Vacation! was released on June 8, 2010, featuring notable singles "Take a Vacation!" and "Everyone but You". In December 2010, Jon Walker announced via Twitter that the group was going on an indefinite hiatus.
