Biography
Kyle Thomas, born 1983 in Brattleboro, Vermont, is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who performs as Kingâ¯Tuff. After learning guitar from a Fender Stratocaster given by his father, he released a selfâmade CDâR that evolved into the debut album Was Dead (2007). Signed to Subâ¯Pop Records, he issued Kingâ¯Tuff (2012), which reached Number 21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, followed by Blackâ¯Moonâ¯Spell (2014) that debuted at Number 1 on the same chart and topped CMJ College Radioplay. Subsequent releases include The Other (2018), Smalltownâ¯Stardust (2023), and MOO (2026). Singles such as "Screamingâ¯Skull" (2012) and "Smalltownâ¯Stardust" (2022) charted on college radio, and he toured the United States, Australia, and Europe while collaborated with Tyâ¯Segall.
