Biography

The Wreckers are a female country duo featuring singers and guitarists Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp. Formed in Nashville in 2004, the duo's first single, "Leave the Pieces", reached #1 on the country charts in 2006, and went on to earn a gold record for sales topping the million mark. Ranked No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, the hit was played on tour with the band Rascal Flatts. In May 2006, the duo's only studio album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, was released on Madonna's label, Maverick Records, at #4 on the country charts (#14 on the Billboard 200), followed by the second single "My, Oh My" at #9 on the country charts (#87 on the Billboard Hot 100) and the third, "Tennessee", at #9. A live album, Way Back Home: Live from New York City, was released in 2007, before the two musicians turned their attention to their respective careers.
