The Waltons, a cow-punk band originating from Berlin, Germany, formed in 1983. Initially known as Johannes Paul und die Ewigen Zweiten, they were discovered by Jason Ringenberg and relocated to Berlin shortly after their formation. The Waltons gained attention for their unique blend of country music and metal, distinguishing themselves from the psychobilly scene. In 1987, under the name Gang of Wrath, they performed a requiem with the Berliner Symphoniker at the Berliner Philharmonie. Their discography includes notable albums such as Here Comes The Waltons (1985), Truck Me Harder (1989), and The Spirit of Cowpunk (2005). After a hiatus from 1994 to 2004, they resumed their musical activities with new albums and concerts.
