Biography

The Taxpayers, an American punk rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2007. They quickly made an impact with their debut album Exhilarating News (2007). Following this release, they continued to build their discography with the album A Rhythm in The Cages (2009), the EP Modest Proposals (2011), and the album To Risk So Much For One Damn Meal (2010). Their 2012 releases included the concept album God Forgive These Bastards, which detailed the life of a fictional baseball player named Henry Turner. Their subsequent albums included Cold Hearted Town (2013), Big Delusion Factory (2016), and Circle Breaker (2025), alongside the EP Modest Proposals 2 (2020). Throughout their career, they maintained a consistent presence in the punk rock scene.
