Biography
The Architect is a French DJ and producer best known as one half of the sound system duo L'Entourloop, mixing reggae, dub, hip-hop and bass music in cinematic, sample-rich productions and DJ sets. In 2013, he released the album Foundations, an exercise in teeming trip-hop where multiple sound samples intersect, followed three years later by the single "Soundbwoy" with L'Entourloop and Troy Berkley. In 2020, The Architect unveils his second Une Plage sur la Lune, featuring a variety of contributors including The Unique Orchestra, Issouf Mounkoro (kora), Fedayi Pacha (duduk, oboe) and Kill Emil (drums). The singles "Darling", "Run" and "Watch Me Dance" are taken from the album. In 2022, the DJ collaborated with soul singer Celeste on "Tuna Luna", then with Judas Brutus and ThaGodFahim in 2025.
