Real name Jules Rigaud, Al'Tarba is a producer and rapper from Toulouse, Haute-Garonne. He made his debut with local group Droogz Parade, which notably produced the album Projet Ludovico in 2016 and the mixtape Terreurs de Jeunesse in 2020. At the same time, Al'Tarba made a name for himself with productions for artists such as Hugo STR, Georgio, Swift Guad and Mysa. In 2007, he launched his solo career with the album Rap, Ultraviolins & Beatmaking, followed two years later by Blood Out Connections Vol. 1. Adept at instrumental and vocal collages, he produces abstract hip-hop through the albums Lullabies for Insomniacs (2013), Let the Ghosts Sing (2014) and La Nuit Se Lève (2017). In addition to his regular collaborations with Senbeï, notably on Rogue Monsters (2019) and Rogue Monsters II (2023), Al'Tarba continues his association with Swift Guad. The compilation Flashback (Mixtape Retrospective 2006-2017), which summarizes their earlier work, is followed by the albums Musique Classique (2020) and Partitions Oubliées (2021). Returning to solo work, he produced Le Cabinet des Curiosités, Vol. 1 (2021) and Le Cabinet des Curiosités, Vol. 2 (2023), La Fin des Contes (2022) and Irwin's Lands (2026).
