Biography
The Monn Keys, a Norwegian musical group founded in 1948 by Sølvi Wang and Egil Monn-Iversen, gained prominence for their jazz and pop music performances. Notable members included Fredrik Conradi, Arne Bendiksen, Per Asplin, Oddvar Sanne, and Nora Brockstedt. Their debut record, Vel møtt igjen, was released in 1951. The group quickly rose to fame through record releases and film appearances, securing a permanent engagement at Oslo's Chat Noir theater in 1954. They also released Dreamsville (1960) in the US in 1960, marking Norway's first pop export to the USA. The Monn Keys disbanded in 1964.
