Biography

The Lovemakers, an electropop/new wave band from Oakland, California, was formed in the spring of 2002 by Scott Blonde (guitar, vocals) and Lisa Light (vocals, bass), who met through Blonde's manager. After forming their own band, they released the self-titled EP on 2003. Their second album, Times of Romance, was released in 2005. The Lovemakers signed with Fuzz in 2007, releasing the EP Misery Loves Company in 2007. In 2008, they began working with Talking House Productions, resulting in the release of Let's Be Friends in 2009. The band announced they would play their final show on New Year's Eve 2009, before reuniting for a one-time performance on February 14, 2014, and subsequently reforming in July 2014.
