Biography

Whether the band's name is inspired by La Piscine or the more recent Swimming Pool is anyone's guess. Apart from the name, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool has no particular French influence, with the band drawing inspiration more from Depeche Mode or Pet Shop Boys. Formed in 2008 in Camden, north London, the trio began to make a name for themselves on the live scene before releasing Dance the Way I Feel, their first EP, in 2009. Dance the Way I Feel is the prelude to an album due in 2010.
