The Adults is a collaborative music project from New Zealand, formed in 2010 by Jon Toogood. The project initially featured established musicians such as Shayne Carter, Julia Deans, Anika Moa, Tiki Taane and Ladi6. Their debut album The Adults was released on June 20, 2011, reaching number 4 in the New Zealand album charts. In 2018, Toogood released Haja, an album blending Aghani Al-Banat, a Sudanese wedding music style, with New Zealand hip hop. The album featured collaborations with artists like Chelsea Jade and Aaradhna, reaching number 14 on the New Zealand charts.
