Jeremiah Healy, born 18 January 1962 in Woolwich, South London, is an English DJ, singer, and producer whose career spans electronic music and electroâpop. He first emerged in the early 1980s as a founding member of the pop group Haysi Fantayzee, collaborating with Paul Caplin and Kate Garner; the groupâs quirky style positioned Healy within the newâwave scene. After the groupâs dissolution, Healy pursued solo work, releasing the single "Stamp!" on 17 October 2005 and the accompanying EP Stamp! on 2 January 2006, which showcased his blend of dance beats and melodic hooks. In 2004 he launched the project Seraphim Suite, featuring vocalists such as Mica Paris on the single "Heart" (Inferno Records), and continued to perform as a resident DJ in Ibiza, Cyprus, and across Europe, the United States, and Brazil. Healyâs production credits include work for EâZee Possee, Bleachin', and remixing tracks for Boy George and George Michael; he also contributed sound effects to Duran⯠Duranâs Arena (An Absurd Notion) video. His collaborations extended into fashion, serving as musical director for Victoriaâs Secret shows from 2001 onward and for Gwen⯠Stefaniâs Lamb label in 2007. Healyâs influence remains evident in the electronic music community through his recordings, remixes, and ongoing DJ appearances.
