Biography

The Golden Dawn, an indie pop/rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1986. The band was signed to Sarah Records, and their breakthrough came with the 1988 single "My Secret World", which reached number 14 on the UK Indie Chart, followed by "George Hamilton's Dead" in 1989, reaching number 19. After parting ways with Sarah Records over rejected tracks, members pursued side projects such as Christine's Cat and Meth O.D. Their single "No Reason Why / Luminous" was released in 2000 through Heaven Records.
