Biography

The Feelers, a rock band from New Zealand, were formed in Christchurch in 1993 by James Reid and Hamish Gee. Their debut album Supersystem, released in September 1998 under Warner Music, topped the charts in New Zealand and won multiple awards at the 1999 New Zealand Music Awards, including Album of the Year. Notable songs include "Pressure Man" and "Venus", which won an APRA Silver Scroll award in 1999 for Most Performed Work. The band continued to release albums, including Communicate (2001) and Playground Battle (2003), achieving significant chart success. They performed extensively across Australasia, the USA, and Europe.
