Biography

The Kids, a Belgian punk rock band formed in 1976, were inspired by the emerging punk wave. The group consisted of Ludo Mariman on guitar and vocals, Danny de Haes on bass, and Eddy de Haes on drums. Their first record contract was signed with Phonogram in 1977. In 1978, they released their debut album The Kids and followed it with Naughty Kids. The band gained significant traction with albums like Living in the 20th Century and Black Out, which included their biggest Belgian hit "There Will Be No Next Time". They disbanded in 1985 after releasing Gotcha!. The Kids reunited in 1996 for the soundtrack of the film Dief and have since played concerts worldwide.
