Techno Animal was an electronic duo that formed in 1990 in London, England. The project consisted of British musicians Justin Broadrick and Kevin Martin. The duo focused on studio exploration and sampling, with the initial intent to avoid live performances. Its debut album, Ghosts, was released (1991) and blended dub production with dark ambient music. During the 1990s, the group released several albums including Re-Entry (1995) and Radio Hades (1998). Its final studio album, The Brotherhood of the Bomb, was released (2001) on Matador Records. The group disbanded in 2004. The duo's music served as an inspiration for the musician Kid606.
