Biography
Numb is a Canadian electro-industrial band based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The group was founded by Don Gordon, David Hall and Sean Stubbs in 1986. Their debut studio album Numb was released in 1987. In 1989, the band issued their second album Christmeister. Numb's third album, Death on the Installment Plan, featured electronic tape-loops with distorted vocals and was released in 1993. The following year saw the release of Wasted Sky, which had a darker feel and more varied approach. David Collins joined as vocalist in 1995, and the band released Blood Meridian in 1997. In 1998, Numb released Language of Silence, an electronic dance album with quieter, intense tracks. The band disbanded after releasing their final single "Suspended" that same year. Don Gordon moved to Vietnam following the disbandment. After a long hiatus, Numb released new material titled Mortal Geometry in 2019 via Bandcamp.
