Biography
Take It Easy Hospital was an Iranian duo based in London, formed by Ashkan Kooshanejad and Negar Shaghaghi in Tehran. Their breakthrough came with the recording of their first single demo song, Human Jungle, in 2008. In 2009, they starred in the award-winning fiction-documentary film No One Knows About Persian Cats directed by Bahman Ghobadi. The film followed their journey to find live members to play at festivals in the UK. Due to post-election turmoil in Iran that same year, Kooshanejad, Shaghaghi, and Ghobadi were forced to seek asylum and have not returned since. Four of Take It Easy Hospital's songs are featured on the soundtrack of No One Knows About Persian Cats.
