Biography

Summercamp, an alternative rock quartet from Santa Barbara, California. In 1987, Vocalist/guitarists Tim Cullen and Sean McCue met in high school, and in 1993 formed an earlier incarnation of the band called Old Man. Bass guitarist Misha Feldmann joined shortly after, followed by drummer Tony Sevener in 1994. The band released their debut album Pure Juice on June 17, 1997, under Maverick Records, which included the singles "Drawer" and "Should I Walk Away". "Drawer" charted at number 21 on the Modern Rock Tracks in the U.S., while "Should I Walk Away" reached the Top 10 in Japan. Summercamp toured extensively, including appearances at the second stage of the 1997 Lollapalooza and the inaugural Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Despite completing a second album with a promotional video, record company issues led to their disbandment in 2001.
