Too Much Joy, an American alternative rock band, was formed in Scarsdale, New York, in the early 1980s. The original lineup included Tim Quirk on vocals, Jay Blumenfield on guitar and vocals, Sandy Smallens on bass and vocals, and Tommy Vinton on drums. Their debut album, Green Eggs and Crack, was released in 1987. The band's breakthrough came with their third album, Cereal Killers (1991), featuring notable singles such as "Crush Story" and "Good Kill". In 1994, Smallens left the band, and William Wittman joined on bass guitar and vocals. Too Much Joy released several more albums, including Mutiny (1992) and ...Finally (1996), before announcing a hiatus in 1997 due to disillusionment with the music industry's commercialism. The band reunited in 2007 for a performance at the Knitting Factory in New York City. They released the album, All These Fucking Feelings, in 2022.
