Stephanie Struijk, known professionally as Stevie Ann, was born on June 24, 1986, in Roggel, Netherlands. She began her musical journey learning to play the guitar and writing songs from a young age. In 2005, she released her debut album Away from Here, which included the single "The Poetry Man". This song gained significant airplay on major Dutch radio stations and peaked at number 26 on the Dutch Top 40. She won multiple awards, such as the Essent Award in November 2005 and the Zilveren Harp in February 2006. Throughout her career, Stevie Ann has released several albums, including Closer to the Heart (2007), Light Up (2010), California Sounds (2013), and Stephanie Struijk (2016).
