Sook-Yin Lee, born Suying Sook-Yin Lee Li in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1966, is a Canadian singer and actress. She began her music career in the mid-1980s as the lead singer of Bob's Your Uncle, an alternative rock band from Vancouver. Lee incorporated performance art techniques into the band's melodic rock style. After Bob's Your Uncle disbanded, she pursued a solo music career, releasing several albums and performing in various theatre, film, and television projects. In 1996, Neko Case covered Sook-Yin Lee's song "Knock Loud" on her EP Canadian Amp. She was also the lead singer for the band Slan. Sook-Yin Lee formed Jooj with Adam Litovitz, releasing their debut album in 2015 and a follow-up, jooj two, in April 2021 on Mint Records.
