Bulldog Mansion, a South Korean rock band formed in Seoul in 1999, emerged from a local indie scene where its founding members cultivated a popârock sound with commercial appeal. Bulldog Mansion consists of Lee Han-Chul (vocals, guitar), Seo Chang-Seok (guitar), and Lee Hanjoo (bass guitar), with Jo Jeong-Beom having served as the bandâs drummer before leaving the group in 2014. Their debut extended play Debut E.P. was released on 10â¯Mayâ¯2000, marking the groupâs entry into the Korean music market and establishing a foundation for their melodic rock style. Following this, the band released Funk on 19â¯Septemberâ¯2002 and Salon de Musica on 5â¯Augustâ¯2004, each album expanding their audience through radio play and live performances across Seoulâs club circuit. A decade later, Bulldog Mansion released Tres3 on 29â¯Mayâ¯2014, featuring the single "The Lady Downstairs" (23â¯Februaryâ¯2018), which received moderate chart placement on domestic rock charts. Throughout their career, the band maintained a steady touring schedule within Korea and occasionally collaborated with emerging artists in the popârock genre. The group has remained active beyond 2018, continuing to contribute to the genreâs evolution without a documented disbandment or death.
