Sons of Sevilla is a British-Spanish psychedelic soul duo formed in 2020 by brothers Henry and Reuben Smith. Starting completely by chance during the COVID-19 lockdown in Yorkshire, the multi-instrumentalists quickly found a shared creative spark. Their unique, sun-drenched, retro-psychedelic sound is deeply shaped by happy childhood summers spent in Spain and time spent living in the mountains of Andalucia. The brothers write and record everything themselves, blending vintage lo-fi grooves, dreamy vocals, and classic folk-blues influences. They caught the attention of Ubiquity Records, leading directly to their 2024 debut album, Lullabies For A Wildcat. They followed this success with their acclaimed 2025 sophomore album, Street Light Moon, which was produced by Black Pumas' Grammy-winning Adrian Quesada and featured the hit single "All The While".Following a highly successful United States tour, the talented duo returned to the music studio in New Jersey to record brand new music. This productive session led to their notable 2026 double A-side single, "Forever Heaven b/w Changing". The brilliant new release highlights the band's immense artistic growth, matching their signature 1970s psych-soul vibe with sharp, modern indie-rock energy.
