Biography

Fantastic Cat is a United States supergroup formed in 2021, comprising Anthony DâAmato, Brian Dunne, Don DiLego, and Mike Montali of Hollis Brown. The band was named after a waitressâs suggestion while recording their selfâtitled EP in Newâ¯York City, and they adopted illustrated cat masks for their visual identity. Their debut single, "C'mon Armageddon", was released in Mayâ¯2022, followed by the LP The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat in 2022, which received national television exposure on CBS Saturday Morning. In 2024 the LP Now Thatâs What I Call Fantastic Cat featured "So Glad You Made It" with Adam Duritz; a single from that album, "Donnie Takes the Bus", reached number 37 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay chart.
