Biography
Soho Bani, real name Felix von Heymann, is a German rapper from Berlin-Wedding who was born in 1999. Together with his colleague Hugo Nameless, he released the collabo mixtape Nase voll, Taschen leer (Nose full, pockets empty ) in 2018, which brought him his first fame. His solo album $oho Bani Vol. 1, released in 2019, also features artists such as Ronnie Ro$e, Longus Mongus and Chapo102. In 2021, the rapper released another album entitled $oho und nicht anders , which also featured guest contributions from Lugatti and Monk. His single "Viral", also released in 2021, made it to number 92 in the German singles charts. This is followed by two more albums, Kids aus dem Versteck (2022, number 15 in Germany) and Träum $oho (2023, number 65 in Germany together with Ericson). At the beginning of 2024, Soho Bani celebrated his first number 1 success in the German singles charts with the single "Zeit, dass sich was dreht", a cover version of a Herbert Grönemeyer song. The previous summer, the rapper had a top 10 hit with Ski Aggu and the track "Theater". The song climbed to number 5 in Germany and reached number 7 in Austria. Soho Bani released his fifth studio album Ein Schritt und ich fall zurück in the fall of 2024.
