Kwamé Holland, born in Queens, New York, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. He released his debut album The Boy Genius in 1989 featuring A New Beginning and produced under the supervision of Hurby "Luv Bug" Azor. His second album, A Day in the Life: A Pokadelick Adventure, followed in 1990 and included the singles "Oneovdabigboiz" and "Ownlee Eue". Kwamé transitioned to producing in 2005, co-writing and co-producing Tweet's single "Turn da Lights Off" and Will Smith's single "Switch". He has worked with notable artists such as LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, Missy Elliott, and Christina Aguilera, selling over 30 million records as a producer.
