Biography
SOAB is a German rock band from Rostock founded in 2009. The band emerged from the members' earlier school and metal projects. The band initially worked under the name SonuVab!tch and changed its name to SOAB in 2017. Tobias Horstmann takes over the vocals, Georg Salomon plays guitar, sings and plays keyboard parts, Johann Knoche plays guitar, Lennart Münchow plays bass and Lucas Bartels plays drums. SOAB's musical genres are alternative rock, pop-punk, punk rock and nu metal. The first release appeared in 2010 with the EP Unleash the Beast as an in-house production. The debut album Holiday Heart Syndrome followed in 2013 via Tubareckorz with distribution by Nuclear Blast. The next studio album OK, wow is not released until 2022. In 2026, the next album Samma?! enters the German charts for the first time at number 76.
