Skunk D.F. is an alternative metal band formed in Madrid, Spain, in 1995 by bassist and vocalist Pepe Arriols. With initial contributions from Raúl Guerra and Roberto Galán, the band started under the name Skunk and later evolved into Skunk D.F., adding Germán González as the lead vocalist. Their first release was the EP Telebasura (1997), followed by their debut album Equilibrio (1999). This period saw them gain recognition in Europe, with comparisons to Slipknot in various metal magazines. In 2001, they released Dentro, which was distributed across Europe and even reached South Africa. The band's third album, NEO (2003), marked their second collaboration with Zero Records. Skunk D.F.'s sound evolved significantly with the release of El Año del Dragón (2005) and Esencia (2007), both produced by Alberto Seara. In 2014, they released a compilation album titled "20 Aniversario" to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The band's most recent studio album is Pigmalión (2016).
