Biography

Simple Creatures was an American pop rock duo formed in 2019, consisting of vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low. The duo's formation followed a long-standing friendship between Hoppus and Gaskarth, who had previously collaborated during tours. Their debut EP, Strange Love, was released on March 29, 2019, via BMG. This was followed by their second EP, Everything Opposite, on October 11, 2019. The duo embarked on a four-date tour of the US and UK in March and April 2019, alongside performances at European music festivals during the summer. Despite plans for an album release in 2020, no new material was released after Everything Opposite, and the band went on hiatus.
