Sheryl Cruz, born Sheryl Rose Anna Marie Sonora Cruz on April 5, 1974, in the Philippines, is a Filipino actress and singer. She began her career at age four, winning the FAMAS Best Child Actress award for her role in Mga Basang Sisiw (1980). Her music career started with her debut album, Sheryl, released in 1989. Cruz continued to release albums throughout her career, including Walang Ganyanan in 1991, as well as singles "Ikaw Ang True Love Ko" and "Ako'y Iyong-Iyo" in the same year. She is also known for her roles as Divina Ferrer in the television drama series Sinasamba Kita, Miss Minchin in Princess Sarah, and Valeria in Bakekang.
