SerafÃn Lizoáin Vidondo, known professionally as SerafÃn Zubiri, was born on April 20, 1964, in Zubiri, Navarra, Spain. He is a Spanish singer. Born with a visual disability that soon resulted in blindness, he attended specialized schools run by the ONCE, where he studied music. At 17, Zubiri formed the group Equus in Pamplona and began a solo career with the album Inténtalo (1987). In 1992, he represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with the song "Todo esto es la música" from the album Te veo con el corazón (1992). He participated in the contest again with the song "Colgado de un sueño" (2000), placing number 18. He released several albums, including Pedaleando (1988), Detrás del viento (1991), Un hombre nuevo (1995), Colgado de un sueño (2000), Sigo aquà (2010), and X una causa justa (2012).
