Schluneggers Heimweh, a Swiss musical group and men's choir, was founded in 2016 by Georg Schlunegger. The group debuted on August 4, 2016, during the SRF show Donnschtig-Jass, introducing their first single "Rosemarie". Their self-titled debut album Heimweh released October 28, 2016, achieved gold status. At the Swiss Music Awards in 2017, Schluneggers Heimweh won "Best Group" and "Best Breaking Act." In early 2017, Georg Schlunegger stepped back from live performances, leading to a name change to Heimweh. The group's album Blueme reached Number 1 on the Swiss Hitparade. Subsequent albums Vom Gipfel is Tal (2018) and Ãrdeschön (2019) also topped the charts. In 2020, their album Zämehäbe won another Swiss Music Award for "Best Album of the Year."
