Simone Cogo, known professionally as Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and later as SBCR, was born on December 18, 1977, in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. He is a DJ and multi-instrumentalist who gained prominence as part of the electronic music duo The Bloody Beetroots. In late 2006, Rifo formed The Bloody Beetroots with Tommy Tea. Their debut EP Cornelius (2008) topped international download charts on iTunes. Their first full-length album, I Love The Bloody Beetroots, was released in 2007, followed by Romborama in 2009 and HIDE in 2013. His song "Butter" was featured in the soundtrack of FIFA 09. In 2015, Rifo began producing music under the name SBCR, releasing EPs such as SBCR & Friends, Vol. 1, SBCR & Adversaries, Vol. 2, and SBCR & Punks, Vol. 3.
